Senior Dynamics CRM Developer

About the role

This position provides expert IT technical lead services in a large-scale Dynamics 365 and Power Platform implementation, involving direction, evaluation, selection, configuration, implementation, and integration of Dynamics 365, Azure, Microsoft Copilot, and Power Platform, as well as Angular and/or Angular programming skills. As a senior developer, you will provide advanced-level technical support for a complex Dynamics 365 implementation across business groups, leading Vanguard in building agentic experiences to better serve clients using Microsoft 365 Copilot and the Power Platform.

This role requires strong leadership and influencing skills to drive change and foster a Secure DevOps culture across teams. We seek a self-starter who can work independently, make decisions as needed, and maintain comprehensive technical knowledge in this evolving space.

This is a hybrid role, requiring in-office presence on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and integration of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.
• Support and enhance existing Dynamics 365 CRM solutions.
• Develop agentic experiences using Microsoft 365 Copilot and Power Platform.
• Architect, develop, and support enterprise-grade CRM solutions.
• Configure security roles and access controls in Dynamics 365.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to drive solutions.
• Promote and implement Secure DevOps practices across teams.
• Maintain strong documentation and problem-solving practices.
• Work in an Agile or product-focused environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with Dynamics 365 Sales and Power Platform.
• Hands-on experience with Power Platform Pipelines, ALM processes, and CI/CD.
• Strong knowledge of Dataverse, Power Automate, and model-driven app development.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks like Angular or React.
• Proven ability to design and configure security roles and access controls in Dynamics 365.
• Strong collaboration, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Minimum of five years of related work experience, with at least one year of development experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certification in Power Platform, Dynamics 365, or related areas (e.g., PL-600, PL-400, MB-210).
• Experience with GitHub for pipeline management and source control.
• Exposure to integration with external systems using APIs and custom connectors.
• Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Customer Insights, Marketing, or Field Service.
