About the role

This position will provide leadership, oversight, and day-to-day management of a team supporting Defense Travel System (DTS) and Centrally Billed Account (CBA) reconciliation, invoice review, transaction research, reporting, quality control, stakeholder coordination, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Contract Manager and primary day-to-day lead for contract execution.
  • Manage team performance, work assignments, schedules, deliverables, and recurring reporting requirements.
  • Lead support for DTS and CBA reconciliation activities, including invoice monitoring, transaction research, and issue resolution.
  • Oversee quality control reviews to ensure work products are accurate, timely, complete, and compliant with applicable requirements.
  • Cook with stakeholders, program offices, travel personnel, financial managers, and other support organizations.
  • Support analysis of account balances, unmatched transactions, open invoices, rejected transactions, and other reconciliation issues.
  • Lead development and maintenance of process documentation, status reports, issue logs, training materials, and corrective action support.
  • Identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and support standardization of recurring reconciliation and reporting activities.
  • Ensure assigned personnel are properly onboarded, trained, and prepared to perform contract requirements.
  • Maintain professional communication with government and contractor leadership.

Requirements

  • Minimum of eight years of professional experience.
  • Minimum of five years of specialized experience in program management, financial management, business analysis, risk analysis, process improvement, or government consulting.
  • Minimum of five years of experience supporting Defense Travel System and Centrally Billed Account reconciliation.
  • Experience managing teams, deliverables, schedules, and government-facing communications.
  • Strong understanding of DTS, CBA reconciliation, government travel processes, transaction research, invoice review, and reporting.
  • Experience supporting federal or DoD financial operations preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, leadership, and written communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Additional years of directly relevant experience may be considered in lieu of advanced education.

Skills

  • PMP, CPA, CDFM, CGFM, CISA, CIA, or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
