About the role
The Role As a Design Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for designing and analyzing digital and analog circuits used in the development of memory products. You will collaborate with Micron’s global design and verification teams. You will support groups such as Product Engineering, Test, Probe, Process Integration, Assembly, and Marketing to design products that optimize manufacturing functions and ensure the best cost, quality, reliability, time-to-market, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Contributing to the development of new product opportunities by assisting with the overall design, layout, verification, and optimization of Memory/Logic/Analog circuits
- Parasitic modeling and assisting in design validation, reticle experiments and required tape-out revisions
- Leading the layout process including floor-planning, placement, and routing
- Working with Marketing, Probe, Assembly, Test, Process Integration, and Product Engineering groups to ensure accurate manufacturability of product
- Proactively solicit guidance from Standards, CAD, modeling, and verification groups to improve the design quality
Qualifications
- BSEE or MSEE in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 4 years of relevant Semiconductor Design and Development experience.
- Proven ability in modeling and simulation of integrated circuits using SPICE and Verilog.
- Working knowledge of Synopsys and Cadence Virtuoso.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the Design and Development of volatile or nonvolatile memory technology. Working knowledge of Advanced Memory technology : ferroelectric memory, wafer bonding, advanced packaging, small signal sensing, and high voltage reliability. 5+ years of demonstrated ability in mixed design and product engineering. 3+ years of proven experience in parasitic modeling, design validation, reticle experiments, and tape-out revisions.
