About the Role
This position is responsible for overseeing the organization's technological infrastructure, research, security controls, and software development. The Senior Director must possess a deep understanding of emerging trends, technologies, and tools relevant to the IT industry and our business objectives. Primary focus includes providing technical leadership and enforcing technical standards, best practices, policies, and coding guidelines to ensure security controls, quality, and consistency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute clear and innovative technology strategies that align with the company's business objectives.
- Drive innovation and creativity in all product and service offerings.
- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data and systems.
- Monitor and mitigate technical risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Lead the design and architecture of scalable, secure, and efficient software systems, applications, and IT infrastructure.
- Ensure that technological advancements are incorporated into new and existing offerings.
- Implement cloud computing strategies and leverage modern architecture patterns.
- Stay up to date with the latest technological advancements and industry developments to drive overall future strategic technical direction for the company.
- Develop and implement IT security policies and programs that align with the company's strategy.
- Manage and lead the Technology team that consists of developers and IT, both full-time and vendors, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Oversee the development and implementation of training and development programs that support employee growth and development.
- Work closely with the management team to align technological strategies with business objectives.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and integration of IT programs and processes.
- Establish and support continuous improvement activities to enhance data integrity, security controls, and technology innovations that align with the company's strategic objectives.
- Participate in contract review and negotiations as needed.
- Understand and uphold all contractual business requirements.
- Lead by example and promote a culture of teamwork, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Hybrid - Office is located in Norcross, GA.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or the relevant experience in Technology in lieu of a degree.
- 8+ years of progressive work-related experience in Software Engineering with a proven track record of implementing successful technology initiatives.
- Extensive experience in software design, system architecture, security controls, and technical leadership.
- 4+ years’ experience in developing and executing technology strategies that align with business objectives.
- 5+ years of people management experience.
- Experience providing solutions at a small and large scale.

Proven experience in developing and implementing IT policies and programs. Demonstrate ability to plan and prioritize work activities; analyze and disseminate IT metrics and use data to drive continuous improvements; manage work time efficiently and follow procedures and policies.
- Continuous Improvement: Encourage the use of new technology and methodology when proposing new solutions. Always strive to improve skills including, but not limited to, industry environment best work practices, operation efficiency, cybersecurity, project management, and internal systems.
