Summary

The Director will lead client engagements across a retail portfolio, delivering technology-enabled solutions while growing client relationships and business opportunities. This role is ideal for a management consultant with strong business transformation experience and a solid understanding of data and technology.

Lead

  • End-to-end technology and data consulting engagements for retail clients, from strategy and design through implementation and value realization.
  • Advising client executives on leveraging technology and data to drive measurable business outcomes, including growth, operational efficiency, and innovation.
  • Ensuring high-quality delivery across engagements, consistently meeting client objectives, timelines, and commercial expectations.
  • Growing and expanding a retail client portfolio by identifying new consulting opportunities and partnering with account teams to shape and deliver differentiated offerings.
  • Pricing and supporting business development initiatives.
  • Partnering with senior leaders to develop proposals, lead client pitches, and support business development initiatives.
  • Mentoring and developing consulting teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.

Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of management consulting experience, with a strong track record delivering technology- and data-enabled business transformation for retail clients.
  • Deep expertise across retail technology platforms, including ERP, POS, CRM, e-commerce, supply chain, and merchandise & assortment planning, as well as data and analytics capabilities.
  • Proven ability to translate technology and data insights into clear, actionable business strategies that drive growth and operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrated success growing and expanding client accounts while delivering measurable, sustained business impact.
  • Experience leading consulting teams, managing senior client relationships, and driving portfolio growth.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA preferred, with strong executive communication and influencing skills.
