Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Defines and leads the company's global tax strategy, including planning, compliance, and audit defense across all jurisdictions.
- Oversees Global Tax Operations, including income tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing, and tax provision under ASC 740.
- Oversees overall tax compliance, including preparation financial statements in compliance with USGAAP and SEC requirements.
- Oversees compliance with local tax authorities, engages with external tax consultants for timely preparation and filing of tax returns.
- Ability to manage team in India and work across time zones to deliver timely compliance, reporting and filings.
- Advises executive leadership on tax implications of strategic business initiatives, M&A, international expansions, and entity structuring.
- Ensures full compliance with U.S. and international tax regulations, including OECD and BEPS requirements.
- Leads relationships with global tax authorities, external advisors, and auditors to manage and resolve complex issues.
- Monitors evolving global tax legislation and proactively positions the company for upcoming regulatory changes.
- Drives automation, standardization, and transformation of tax processes and systems to improve operational efficiency and risk mitigation.
- Develops and mentors a high-performing global tax team and promotes a culture of strategic thinking, compliance, and collaboration.
Basic Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive experience in corporate tax, including extensive international exposure and leadership responsibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA and/or Master's in Taxation required.
- Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, ASC 740, OECD guidelines, global tax laws, and transfer pricing principles.
- Proven success in shaping enterprise tax strategies, leading global teams, and navigating complex audits.
- Advanced knowledge of tax technologies and ERP systems (e.g., OneSource, SAP, Oracle).
- Exceptional executive presence, communication, and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
Pay
Compensation Range: $230.5K - $346K
