Senior Director, Tax
Job Summary
The Senior Director of Tax is responsible for providing strategic leadership related to all tax matters for Sanford’s acute care, long-term care, health plans, and other related businesses. This role oversees all federal and state filings of all tax-exempt and taxable subsidiaries (990s, state charitable organization reporting, etc.) and all other tax-related activities including sales tax, excise tax, real estate tax, provider tax and others.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related degree with an accounting minor required.
- Master’s degree in Tax is preferred.
- At least seven years of tax experience, preferably in a healthcare organization and/or in public accounting.
- Certified Public Accountant with an active CPA license is required.
