For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director Talent Acquisition & HRBP to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will serve as a strategic people partner to business leaders, helping connect talent strategy with operating priorities. You will work across leadership teams and HR functions to support workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and employee engagement initiatives. The position offers the opportunity to influence team performance, leadership capability, and scalable people practices within a life sciences environment. Location: South San Francisco, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $270,000 – $330,000 annually Responsibilities Own and execute a company-wide talent acquisition strategy aligning with growth plans Lead, coach, and develop the Talent Acquisition team as the organization scales Translate business priorities into strategic hiring plans Build pipelines across biotech talent markets and manage external recruitment vendors Partner with leaders to recruit for critical clinical and scientific roles Ensure efficient and inclusive hiring processes tailored to late-stage biotech Collaborate on hiring roadmaps reflective of organizational needs and priorities Qualifications 12+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition and HR leadership roles, preferably in biotechnology or life sciences 5+ years of management experience in high-growth environments like biotech or biopharma Proven track record of hiring for clinical development and technical operations roles Adept in organizational decision-making regarding hiring prioritization and tradeoffs Strong influencer with ability to operate effectively in dynamic work environments Comfortable in a hybrid Talent Acquisition/HRBP role Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Mental health resources and support Equity incentive plan to share in company success 401(k) program with employer matching contributions Generous holiday and paid time off (PTO) policy Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
