Senior Director, Supply Chain

About the role

Enormous Enterprise LLC is supporting a leading U.S.-based food manufacturing company in hiring a Senior Director of Supply Chain. This is a critical leadership role responsible for end-to-end supply chain operations across procurement, production planning, inventory, logistics, and distribution in a multi-unit food manufacturing environment. Vendors are invited to submit highly qualified, senior-level candidates with strong backgrounds in supply chain leadership within food, CPG, or manufacturing sectors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-term supply chain strategies to support business growth
• Lead all supply chain functions: procurement, logistics, warehousing, inventory, and distribution
• Align production planning with sales forecasts and operational targets
• Ensure compliance with all food safety standards (FDA, USDA, HACCP, GMP)
• Build and manage supplier relationships, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery performance
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Finance, and Manufacturing teams to optimize workflows
• Improve logistics performance through data-driven metrics and continuous process improvements
• Lead cost-reduction, sourcing optimization, and supply chain efficiency initiatives
• Oversee raw materials purchasing, packaging procurement, and indirect goods sourcing
• Drive ERP utilization, supply planning accuracy, and cross-functional communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
• 7+ years of supply chain or logistics experience, including 3+ years in leadership
• Strong experience in food manufacturing or food production (highly preferred)
• Deep knowledge of supply chain systems, procurement, planning, logistics, and inventory
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations, compliance standards, and quality systems
• Proven ability to lead multi-site or multi-unit supply chain operations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with ERP systems and modern supply chain technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving approach with a continuous improvement mindset
