About the role
Enormous Enterprise LLC is supporting a leading U.S.-based food manufacturing company in hiring a Senior Director of Supply Chain. This is a critical leadership role responsible for end-to-end supply chain operations across procurement, production planning, inventory, logistics, and distribution in a multi-unit food manufacturing environment. Vendors are invited to submit highly qualified, senior-level candidates with strong backgrounds in supply chain leadership within food, CPG, or manufacturing sectors.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute long-term supply chain strategies to support business growth
- Lead all supply chain functions: procurement, logistics, warehousing, inventory, and distribution
- Align production planning with sales forecasts and operational targets
- Ensure compliance with all food safety standards (FDA, USDA, HACCP, GMP)
- Build and manage supplier relationships, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery performance
- Partner with Operations, Quality, Finance, and Manufacturing teams to optimize workflows
- Improve logistics performance through data-driven metrics and continuous process improvements
- Lead cost-reduction, sourcing optimization, and supply chain efficiency initiatives
- Oversee raw materials purchasing, packaging procurement, and indirect goods sourcing
- Drive ERP utilization, supply planning accuracy, and cross-functional communication
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
- 7+ years of supply chain or logistics experience, including 3+ years in leadership
- Strong experience in food manufacturing or food production (highly preferred)
- Deep knowledge of supply chain systems, procurement, planning, logistics, and inventory
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations, compliance standards, and quality systems
- Proven ability to lead multi-site or multi-unit supply chain operations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with ERP systems and modern supply chain technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving approach with a continuous improvement mindset
