Senior Director, Strategic Initiatives

Accountabilities

• Define and own the strategic roadmap for institutional growth initiatives, aligning priorities with senior leadership and long-term business objectives.
• Lead high-value negotiations and structure complex institutional deals with financial institutions, trading firms, and infrastructure partners.
• Translate market intelligence, regulatory trends, and competitive dynamics into actionable product and commercial strategies.
• Drive execution across cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Sales to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• Identify and evaluate new market opportunities within the institutional crypto and digital asset ecosystem, including custody, OTC, tokenization, and related infrastructure.
• Develop robust business cases for new initiatives and oversee their progression from concept through execution and scale.
• Act as a key operator alongside senior leadership, ensuring accountability for outcomes and strategic impact across initiatives.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in strategy, corporate development, investment banking, consulting, or senior commercial roles within financial services or crypto.
• Strong understanding of institutional digital asset markets, including custody, prime brokerage, OTC trading, tokenization, and fund infrastructure.
• Proven experience structuring and closing complex, multi-stakeholder commercial deals.
• Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels without compromising quality or rigor.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex market and business information into clear recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical senior stakeholders.
• Experience building or scaling high-impact initiatives with measurable business outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
