Senior Director, Service Supply Planning
About the role
The Senior Director of Service Supply Planning plays a pivotal role in leading the Service OPS team, promoting service operations excellence globally. This role combines comprehensive global supply chain management with extensive knowledge in service and aftermarket parts planning.
Responsibilities
- Capture and synchronize repair lifecycles, failure rates, and customer requirements with manufacturing and supply chain strategies.
- Align finished goods and aftermarket service requirements, balancing long-term capacity with immediate service needs.
- Develop and track important metrics such as supplier forecast accuracy, allocation fill rate, timely supply, capacity utilization, inventory turns, and their direct impact on revenue and customer happiness.
- Lead the way in developing and implementing proactive supply risk frameworks, navigating global trade policies, export regulations, and supply resilience in a volatile world.
- Architect, automate, and continuously improve service supply planning infrastructure, ensuring scalable, agile responses to new product introductions, EOL transitions, and global expansion.
- Expand and manage relationships with contract manufacturers, cross-functional teams, and repair hubs to ensure world-class reverse logistics and repair capacity.
Requirements
Over 18 overall years of advancing global supply chain and service planning leadership experience in complex, high-technology, and fast-moving settings, demonstrating success in semiconductor, AI infrastructure, networking, or associated fields. 10+ years of mgmt. experience. Deep S&OP expertise: forecasting, capacity planning, supply allocation, and inventory optimization at scale, with demonstrated success in Fortune 500 or similarly complex organizations. Outstanding cross-functional leadership, encouraging a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth across dispersed and multidisciplinary teams. Advanced analytical and financial skills, connecting supply chain performance to business impact and driving fact-based decision making. Strong business insight and technical proficiency in advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP IBP), analytics, and industry-standard methodologies (APICS, Lean Six Sigma). Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, planning & business operations, or related field required; advanced degree (MS, MBA) preferred.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 292,000 USD - 442,750 USD. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
