Senior Director, Quality Control & Analytical Development

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global analytical development and quality control strategy
• Oversee the entire analytical and QC lifecycle from development to commercialization
• Ensure GMP analytical and QC operations are regulatory compliant and inspection-ready
• Lead analytical method development and lifecycle management, focusing on small molecules
• Establish and govern commercial QC operations and external partnerships
• Manage deviations, investigations, and quality issues in analytical and QC activities
• Build and scale a high-performing QC and analytical development team

Qualifications

• Ph.D., M.S., or B.S. in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, or related field
• 18+ years in analytical development and quality control for pharmaceuticals
• Expertise in small-molecule oral solid dosage forms
• Experience in leading analytical and/or QC organizations
• Knowledge of animal health regulatory requirements, especially FDA CVM
• Proven track record managing external GMP testing labs and analytical service providers
• Ability to distill complex scientific and regulatory issues into actionable recommendations
• Skilled in both technical leadership and executive-level decision-making
