About the role
The Senior Director, Program Management will fill a key role within Asurion’s Retail organization, serving as the leading authority responsible for managing a Fortune 20 company’s underwriting performance. This position involves developing and leading claims reserving strategy, conducting forecasting and variance analysis, managing risks, driving optimization, and partnering internally to ensure Asurion provides the most competitive claims experience. The candidate will also form critical trust-based relationships with clients to drive understanding of performance and key trade-offs across costs and experience.
Responsibilities
- Underwriting performance management – own performance and partner internally to develop strategies ensuring account-level profitability.
- Actuarial Insights – evaluate and measure performance metrics to ensure growth, customer experience, contract compliance, and profitability. Lead monthly/quarterly business reviews with internal and external leadership.
- Manage Reserving Strategy – responsible for pricing claims reserve and ensuring costs align with pricing assumptions. Lead the sell-in of pricing and risk modifications with underwriters, internal, and external leadership.
- Client relationships – provide performance insights and subject matter expertise.
- Support monthly financial close and annual/quarterly forecasting process.
- Drive Optimization – partner with Asurion Product, Operations, Strategy, Legal, and Technology teams to identify and execute the long-term growth roadmap.
- Influence Claims Process and Data Strategy – partner with internal teams to improve claims adjudication, expand fraud management, and ensure data quality.
- Team Leadership – infuse the team of direct and indirect reports with a sense of purpose and create clear accountability. Foster an environment of collaboration and data-driven business decision-making.

- Strong collaboration and cross-functional partnership skills.
- Self-starter with a strong desire to identify and lead opportunities that drive significant business impact.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or a Business/Finance-related field (required).
- Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Strong analytical expertise related to data analysis.
- 10+ years of related experience.
