About the role

At Capital One, risk management is not just part of the business, it is the business. Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Compliance are critical pillars of our risk organization, ensuring we consistently set the industry standard for regulatory excellence. Across this space, we are on an exciting mission to modernize our product ecosystem through the novel intersection of data, applied AI, and customer-centric experiences that will fundamentally redefine the art of the possible. We are seeking a highly strategic, data-centric product leader to drive the vision and execution of a complex suite of data platforms supporting AML, Compliance, and broader risk management efforts. As a Senior Director of Product Management and a key member of our leadership team, you will guide a large, multi-disciplinary group of product managers and data analysts to build the shared data foundation that powers our entire product portfolio. This platform spans four primary data domains within the Enterprise Risk Organization (ERO). A major focus of this role will be architecting scalable solutions that ingest, translate, and standardize complex data elements from across all of Capital One’s Lines of Business (LOBs), transforming disparate inputs into a unified, high-quality asset for enterprise-wide use. You will navigate a rich ecosystem of stakeholders, partnering deeply with upstream data producers, downstream consumers, ontologists, product leaders, and senior business leaders. If you are energized by solving massive-scale data challenges to create step-function leverage across multiple applications, we would love to speak with you.
