Senior Director, Platform Architect - AI

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director, Platform Architect - AI to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This leader will shape the architecture behind enterprise AI capabilities that support LLMs, advanced analytics, and scalable deployment across a complex global environment. The role will guide platform strategy, cloud-native design, and internal developer enablement to accelerate AI application delivery. You will partner closely with engineering, infrastructure, and security stakeholders to ensure solutions are portable, resilient, and aligned with regulatory expectations. This is a highly strategic opportunity for an architect who can translate emerging AI needs into durable platform foundations.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop enterprise AI platforms for LLMs and advanced analytics
• Design and implement scalable AI deployment patterns across cloud environments
• Lead architecture and implementation of AI platforms on Google Cloud
• Define multi-cloud design patterns ensuring portability and flexibility
• Build internal developer platforms to streamline AI application deployment
• Develop CI/CD frameworks for consistent cross-cloud deployments
• Establish secure architectures to comply with global regulatory standards

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in platform engineering or cloud architecture
• Proficient in designing solutions on Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with cloud-native platforms, APIs, and data pipelines
• Hands-on expertise in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and CI/CD practices
• Strong experience in production-grade data and analytics platforms
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go

Compensation

$197,900 – $272,100 annually
