About the Role

The Senior Director, Partnership Sales at Bay FC is a senior individual contributor responsible for driving sponsorship revenue through the development and sale of integrated brand partnerships. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with brands and agencies, and executing partnership sales to support the club’s commercial growth. The Senior Director will play a key role in advancing sponsorship efforts through proactive outreach, creative solution development, and disciplined pipeline management.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new sponsorship revenue through proactive outreach, relationship development, and strategic prospecting across regional and national brands.
  • Identify and cultivate new partnership opportunities across multiple categories.
  • Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, pitching, negotiation, and closing partnership agreements.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with a consistent focus on achieving individual revenue targets.
  • Develop tailored partnership proposals that leverage business intelligence data and align brand objectives with Bay FC’s platform and assets.
  • Collaborate with internal and agency partner teams to design creative, integrated partnership concepts.
  • Work with marketing, creative, and community teams to ensure partnership programs align with club initiatives.
  • Support the transition of sold partnerships to activation teams while maintaining strong partner relationships.
  • Build and maintain relationships with brand marketers, agencies, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Represent the club in meetings, presentations, and networking opportunities with potential partners.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of sponsorship trends and opportunities within sports and entertainment.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and activity reporting within CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with commercial leadership teams on revenue forecasting and sales planning.
  • Ensure partnership agreements are structured effectively and align with organizational standards.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in sponsorship sales, partnership development, or revenue generation within professional sports, entertainment, media, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of generating new business and closing partnership deals.
  • Experience developing customized sponsorship or marketing partnership proposals.
  • Strong network across brand marketers and/or agencies is preferred.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly self-motivated with strong organizational and pipeline management abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across internal teams in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

The anticipated salary range for this role is between $130,000 and the hired applicant will be eligible to receive commission. Actual starting pay may vary based on experience, skills, and scope.
