Primary Responsibilities
- Plans, directs, organizes and controls warehousing, distribution, and transportation activities for the distribution center.
- Implements company operating policies, procedures and processes that achieve safe, efficient, and cost-effective facility operations, while meeting customer service expectations.
- Maintains the distribution center in accordance with Company’s health and sanitation standards, federal and state OSHA requirements and protects and maintains company assets (inventory, facilities and fleet) within the designated region.

- DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must demonstrate the ability to build and sustain a safe and clean work environment through a relentless focus on prevention and sending associates home safe every day.
- Service commitments to key customers with a focus on accuracy, quality and on time delivery.
- Leverage lean leadership, daily management and root cause/problems solving.
- Model and instill KeHE’s Keystone habits to drive a strong, engaged and productive team-based environment.

- Organize production and procedures for transportation and warehouse operations to meet budgetary goals.
- Oversee and execute all inventory control procedures ensuring maximum safeguard of the company’s physical inventory.
- Analyze workforce data to identify trends and implement process improvements to meet operational goals.
- Interface daily with management of the warehouse to drive communication and site morale.
- Responsible for the overall maintenance of all equipment; recommend new equipment, systems, and facility for capital expenditures in partnership with key stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain inventory, shrinkage-shortage level goals established by the company.
- Oversee responsibility for facility's security, safety, and sanitation programs.
- Maintain an efficient production schedule to ensure timely truck departures to meet delivery schedules.
- Cookware and Transportation materials, supplies, and products.
- Interact with customers to resolve order discrepancies and ensure quality service.
- Establish and maintain effective communication avenues with all KEHE departments.
- Develop and maintain effective cost control procedures.
- Develop and maintain effective productivity procedures.
- Maximize facility productivity and utilization.
- Maintain safeguards of confidential company information.

- Must be skilled to effectively resolve complex problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures.
- Proficiency with data analysis to identify, problem-solve, root cause, and action issues.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma required.
- Bachelor’s Degree is highly preferred.
- Minimum 10 years prior warehouse / distribution experience required.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive leadership is required.
- Previous experience operating operational systems including MS Office, Power BI, Manhattan, Blue Yonder for data analytics and results management.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to carry, lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
- The associate is required to sit.
- The associate is frequently required to stand, walk, and climb.
- The associate is subject to a warehouse environment where temperatures can vary from very cool to very warm.
- The associate is also exposed to outside weather conditions.
- The associate is subject to noise levels in the work environment that are typically low to moderate.
