Senior Director, Operations
Accountabilities
The Senior Director, Operations will be responsible for defining operational strategy, improving business performance, and leading teams that support customer success, scalability, and long-term growth.
Lead operational strategy and execution across a healthcare technology segment, translating business objectives into scalable plans, priorities, and performance goals.
Build and optimize operating models across Customer Success, Support, Implementation, Sales, and Marketing functions to improve customer experience, efficiency, retention, and profitability.
Partner with Product and Engineering teams to prioritize customer-driven initiatives, improve delivery readiness, and support successful platform enhancements, migrations, and integrations.
Establish and manage business operating processes, including forecasting, KPI reviews, planning cycles, executive reporting, and accountability frameworks.
Develop operational dashboards, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive data-informed decision-making.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate workflows, and eliminate operational bottlenecks.
Build, mentor, and develop high-performing leaders and teams while fostering a culture of customer focus and operational excellence.
Collaborate with executive stakeholders to align priorities, manage change, and execute strategic initiatives.
Ensure consistent achievement of business objectives related to growth, customer retention, operational performance, and profitability.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is an experienced operations leader with a strong background in SaaS, healthcare technology, or similarly complex software environments, with a proven ability to scale teams and operating models.
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, business operations, or service delivery roles.
Experience working within B2B SaaS, healthcare technology, dental technology, or complex software organizations.
Demonstrated success partnering across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Support, Implementation, Product, and Engineering teams.
Proven ability to build scalable operating frameworks, including KPI systems, forecasting processes, business reviews, operational playbooks, and performance management models.
Strong leadership experience developing managers and building accountable, high-performing teams.
Excellent strategic planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence executive leaders.
Experience managing multi-product software portfolios and complex operational environments.
Familiarity with platform migrations, system consolidations, integrations, or post-acquisition operational initiatives is preferred.
Knowledge of healthcare data privacy, security, and compliance considerations is a plus.
Experience supporting dental, orthodontic, or healthcare practice workflows is highly desirable.
Able to operate effectively in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments with evolving priorities.
