Senior Director of Quality Assurance

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director of Quality Assurance to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will shape and scale the organization’s quality strategy across multiple products and global teams. The Senior Director will partner closely with engineering, operations, and business leaders to define standards, strengthen governance, and improve release confidence. With a strong focus on automation, CI/CD, and AI-enabled testing, this leader will drive quality transformation and continuous improvement across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a unified quality strategy aligned with organizational goals
• Define QA standards, processes, tools, and governance mechanisms
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and transformation programs
• Drive the adoption of AI/ML-based quality and testing tools
• Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
• Prepare executive-level quality reports and dashboards for leadership
• Ensure alignment on release criteria and quality gates across teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years in QA, Quality Engineering, or Software Testing
• 7+ years of QA leadership experience across multiple products and global teams
• Experience with automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
• Proven ability to lead in a matrixed environment
• Demonstrated experience with AI-assisted testing or ML-driven quality tools
• Strong communication skills across technical and business functions

Pay

$233,000 – $300,000 annually
