Senior Director of Operations - APG Practice Management - EHT
About the role
The Senior Director of Operations is responsible for providing operational leadership and support to the functions contained within APG. The position coordinates and integrates services internally and externally, develops and organizes project plans. The position will streamline & standardize operations across the APG network; manage the referral management system to and within primary and specialty areas and scorecard reporting. The position also facilitates collaboration with external personnel for the purpose of planning and implementing/maintaining services and programs. The Senior Director of Operations provides administrative supervision and encourages staff development for Occupational Medicine services. The position is responsible for the coordination of performance improvement activities and for the fiscal performance including budgetary planning and staffing of designated projects and/or areas. This position will participate in short and long term planning for ambulatory services and projects including coordinating growth initiatives, new site development and construction.
Responsibilities
- Provides operational leadership and support to the functions contained within APG.
- Carefully coordinates and integrates services internally and externally.
- Develops and organizes project plans.

Qualifications
- Education: Master Degree – Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Health or related field.
- Licenses/Certifications: A valid NJ driver’s license required.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years leadership experience required as an administrative/business manager, with a strong background of oversight responsibility for staff, budget, program deployment, and/or project management. Must possess excellent planning, organizational and execution skills, the ability to manage and support staff and management, and a high comfort level managing diverse responsibilities.

Schedule
Occasional walking and standing may have prolonged periods of sitting and frequently works with such equipment as computer terminal/fax machine/copier/telephone. Travel to sites throughout AtlantiCare Health System occasionally required including the current five counties with active and active centers.
