Senior Director of Food and Nutrition Services

About the Role

With over 31,000 associates, the company provides personalized dining experiences for patients and café patrons to support healing and healthful missions. The Sr. Director of Dining Services oversees day‑to‑day foodservice operations, leads a team, manages client relationships, ensures profitability of the account, and drives talent development.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the department in accordance with the approved budget while delivering maximum value to the client.
• Ensure the food offered to the client is of superior quality.
• Direct and conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs.
• Maintain excellent relationships with clients and other departments within the community.
• Promote professional growth and development of the entire team.
• Foster strong inter‑departmental relations and integrate the dining service department with the facility’s overall operations plan.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of additional experience.
• Minimum of five years of proven leadership expertise.
• Two to four years of direct foodservice operational management experience, including inventory and purchasing knowledge and control.
• Strong knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract‑managed service experience (desirable).
• ServSafe® certification (a plus).
• Forward‑thinking, proactive attitude and ability to represent the company.

Pay

• Salary: $95,000 – $105,000
