SENIOR DIRECTOR OF FINANCE & BUSINESS STRATEGY

About the role

We’re adding a Senior Director of Finance & Business Strategy to our ASI leadership team at Cal Poly Pomona. This role is about more than managing the numbers—it’s about connecting resources, strategy, and operations to make good decisions, build sustainable systems, and invest intentionally in the student experience. As the CSU moves forward with its strategic plan, we have an opportunity to think differently about how our resources support that mission and how ASI contributes to creating the environments and experiences where students connect, grow, and graduate.

We’re looking for a finance leader who is curious, collaborative, comfortable with complexity, and interested in the bigger organizational picture.

Responsibilities

• Connect resources, strategy, and operations to support decision-making and sustainable systems
• Invest intentionally in the student experience
• Align financial planning with the CSU’s strategic plan and ASI’s mission
• Contribute to creating environments and experiences that support student growth and graduation
