About the role

Contact Government Services (CGS) is seeking a Senior Director of eDiscovery for one of its large government projects. This position involves leading an electronic discovery team and supporting professionals in litigation support and e-discovery processes.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the Government's professionals in all aspects of litigation support and e-discovery processes, including project management, ESI intake, data analysis, early case assessment, document production, and vendor liaison.
  • Manages litigation support software, eDiscovery databases, and performs tasks such as database creation and maintenance, image/data/transcript import/export, document scanning, OCR, coding, and document productions.
  • Prepares documents and exhibits for trial, receives and logs incoming media, maintains chain of custody, and tracks media and data.
  • Contributes to internal process development, prepares workflows, and maintains a working knowledge of industry best practices and new regulations.
  • Works directly with the General Counsel, Attorneys, Law Clerks, and Legal Assistants as part of the matter team, troubleshoots technical issues, and builds relationships with eDiscovery vendors.

Requirements

  • An understanding of the litigation lifecycle and electronic discovery/document review processes, procedures, and practices.
  • 7+ years of experience in a litigation support, electronic discovery, or technology support environment, preferably within the Government.
  • Experience performing Administrator and Case Manager functions in Relativity.
  • Experience with providing end-user support on all Litigation Support applications, including assisting with end-user training.
  • Experience with Relativity, Nuix, Concordance, IPRO, and other applicable eDiscovery software platforms.
  • A US Citizen with a favorably adjudicated Public Trust Clearance.

Qualifications

  • The Relativity Certified Administrator Certification.
