Job Summary

The Senior Director, Non Performing - Credit & Asset Management will oversee and resolve a portfolio of non-performing and/or Real Estate Owned assets managed for one of Trimont’s key clients. Responsibilities include maintaining a comprehensive understanding of real estate markets, managing borrower and lender relationships, coordinating with third-party vendors, monitoring asset performance, creating and reviewing Excel-based cash flow projections and valuation models, and developing resolution strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline required.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in portfolio servicing and/or asset management.
  • In-depth expertise in commercial real estate debt operations.
  • Extensive knowledge of complex commercial real estate structured finance transactions.
  • 7+ years of experience leading diverse teams, including goal setting, mentorship, and conducting performance reviews to drive collaboration, productivity, and professional development.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong familiarity with other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Demonstrated success managing high transaction volumes within tight deadlines.
  • Strong relationship management skills, both internally and externally.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Experience and knowledge in commercial real estate construction lending or development.
