What you'll do

  • Lead a results driven business development org focused on negotiating and executing highly technical partnerships, including in the Audio space
  • Build strategic business plans with audio publisher partners for overall growth in transparent access, addressability, decisioning and bottom-line revenue
  • Oversee strategic inventory (publisher) partners across North America responsible for the long-term success of supply relationships
  • Lead contract negotiations with publisher partners across initiatives
  • Develop a mid and long-term strategy for Publisher partnerships identifying the best ways to unlock growth and innovation across all channels
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with executive-level leadership at strategic publishers in North America
  • Partner with Product, Marketplace Quality, and Inventory Management teams to execute a roadmap of supply-focused strategic initiatives that support business growth in North America
  • Serve as an escalation point for key decisions related to Publisher partnerships
  • Enable improvements across audio and CTV publishers for long term success
  • Understand and communicate TTD's value proposition and technology in various contexts

Who you are

  • Execution mindset with experience leading scaled teams to deliver against a multi-year plan
  • SME level knowledge and a thought leader in the audio space
  • A proven leader with strong people management abilities and a collaborative team approach
  • Strong business development skills with the ability to create data driven influence with key partners
  • Excellent narrative capabilities that communicate TTD's strategy and align partners to long term goals
  • 10+ years of experience in business development at ad tech companies, media companies or other related organizations
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, executive team and industry organizations
  • Understanding of the North American media landscape and the trends impacting programmatic advertising
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Legal, Commercial, Product and Operations teams
  • Ability to motivate, set priorities, guide and mobilize a team to execute, deliver results, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven critical thinking, data driven communication, questioning and listening skills in formal and informal settings
  • Ability to rapidly grasp new technology and product changes, and comfort with complex concepts in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail but adaptable to a quickly evolving landscape

Pay

Base salary range: $182,800—$335,200 USD. All employees may be eligible to become shareholders through stock-based compensation grants, awarded based on company and individual performance. Other compensation may include variable incentive awards and commissions depending on the role.
