Position Overview
Leads the strategic HR direction for the assigned group/function, enabling enterprise priorities while serving as the primary HR Business Partner to the Vice President/Senior Leader of their function or group. Provides end-to-end Human Relations leadership across strategy development and execution. Acts as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leaders and their teams, designing and implementing programs that advance both short- and long-term business objectives. Accountable for the development and delivery of integrated HR and business plans, including employee and labor relations; talent acquisition and management; leadership coaching and development; performance management; organizational effectiveness and change management; compensation administration and communication; regulatory compliance and risk mitigation; and People Support program identification and execution.
Responsibilities
- Provides leadership and direction for assigned groups or functions within the business unit. In conjunction with company-wide initiatives, develops programs and systems that enhance organizational capabilities and accelerate the ability to achieve business results.
- Troubleshoots large-scale operational and strategic issues.
- Responsible for all facets of HR functional strategy implementation: talent and performance management, compensation management, recruiting and staffing, communication, employee and labor relations.
- Partners with leadership teams to establish and implement functional strategy and direction, particularly with respect to development of organizational capability, aligning with enterprise priorities.
- Provides leadership to management teams in order to identify functional and organizational opportunities relating to human resource policies, procedures, and/or programs, influencing senior leaders in their function or group.
- Responsible for development of direct reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or similar field of study. MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive plant (CPG/FMCG) and business unit HR experience.
- 7+ years in Senior HR leadership roles.
- Networking capabilities, influencing others, clear and concise communicator; must build relationships and value people.
- Customers are internal – interacts daily.
- Interacts outside of business unit within function and in role as committee member on a regular basis.
- Strategic Leadership – Critical, Risk Taking/Innovation – Critical, Personal/Team Leadership – Critical.
- Industry expertise preferred but not required.

Hybrid eligible (50% onsite per month) based at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.
