Senior Director, Global Tax Reporting and U.S Compliance

About the role

This role will strengthen forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes that guide business decisions. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within an Aerospace & Defense environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead global ASC 740 tax provision processes from planning to reporting
• Ensure tax accounting processes comply with Sarbanes Oxley requirements
• Serve as primary liaison with external auditors for ASC 740 audit support
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders including the controller’s office and external auditors
• Supervise and improve tax accounting processes while monitoring changes in tax law
• Assist in mentoring and developing the tax team’s technical skills and dynamics
• Oversee preparation and review of federal and state corporate income tax returns

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive corporate income tax experience in a multinational public company or big four public accounting firm
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA and/or Master’s degree preferred
• Deep expertise in ASC 740 with experience in global tax provision and SEC reporting
• Strong background in U.S. federal and state income tax compliance
• Experience in government contracting industry is a plus
• Familiarity with Onesource Tax Compliance and Provision

Pay

$250,000 – $250,000 annually
