Senior Director, Global Supply Chain Planning

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director, Global Supply Chain Planning to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This leader will oversee end-to-end global supply chain planning for clinical and commercial programs, ensuring the organization is positioned to meet demand with the right capacity, inventory, and responsiveness. The role will drive integrated planning processes across functions to support launches, commercialization, and long-term growth. The ideal candidate will bring deep pharmaceutical supply chain expertise and the ability to align forecasting, planning, and execution across a complex network. Location: Redwood City, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $244,000 – $305,000 annually Responsibilities Define and execute global supply chain strategies for clinical and commercial programs. Lead S&OP and D&OP processes to align demand with supply capabilities. Collaborate with clinical and commercial teams to create accurate demand forecasts. Balance demand and supply across the network to improve responsiveness. Develop long-term capacity plans and inventory strategies to support growth. Qualifications B.S. in Supply Chain, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline; MBA preferred. 20+ years of supply chain management experience within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. Deep expertise in supply chain planning, S&OP/C&OP, and inventory management. Proven experience in launch planning and commercialization support.
