About Mission Driven Finance

Learn more about us, our “why,” and our opportunities on our jobs page. Mission Driven Finance uses finance as a tool for change. We’re all about mobilizing capital that will increase inclusive and equitable access to education, health, and wealth, and there are a lot of awesome things happening to achieve our mission.

Who should apply

We are seeking an analytical wizard who is excited by the opportunity to manage impact investing fund vehicles. You understand private investments and structured finance, and are familiar with the basics of private funds. You have led analysts or fund managers before, and know how to balance hands-on technical depth with coaching others to do the same. Spreadsheets are your happy place and you love a good number puzzle. You can balance complicated analysis with presenting summary recommendations across a fund’s lifecycle, including watching the investment pipeline relative to capital calls and distributions, tracking financial and impact covenants, and working through a range of what-if scenarios. You are a resourceful, hyper-organized professional who gets bored unless you are handling multiple workstreams, and can work within a wide breadth of systems and tasks. You love to create and utilize elegant tools, templates and processes that improve efficiency and accuracy. You are excited by the opportunity to work at a nimble, fast-growing organization with a bold vision to transform the way finance works. You thrive in entrepreneurial environments, where taking initiative and thinking outside the box are the norm. You appreciate collaborative environments and understand the power of working together, where diverse perspectives lead to innovative solutions. This position is remote. Our team is distributed across the U.S. and works remotely.
