For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director Enterprise Risk Management to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will provide business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen responsible execution, improve decision-making, and support sustainable growth within a regulated financial services environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $253,000 – $355,000 annually Responsibilities Lead the evolution of the company’s Enterprise Risk Management program Strengthen enterprise risk governance and structures across the enterprise Oversee and enhance key enterprise risk programs like Operational Risk and Third Party Risk Management Ensure enterprise risk programs are data-driven and aligned with broader frameworks Develop risk analytics and reporting for executive leadership Partner with senior leaders to assess risks for new products and initiatives Drive cross-functional alignment and risk-aware decision-making across the company Mentor a high-performing team of risk professionals Qualifications 15+ years in financial services, fintech, or technology with a focus on risk, audit, or compliance Proven track record in developing enterprise risk frameworks in high-growth environments Strong strategic mindset connecting risk management to business objectives Ability to influence senior stakeholders and align across functions without direct authority Exceptional analytical skills for translating complex data into actionable insights Experience in developing and leading high-performing teams Preference for experience with Product, Engineering, and data-driven teams Benefits 100% subsidized medical coverage for you and your dependents Generous stipends for technology, food, lifestyle needs, and family-forming expenses Competitive vacation and holiday schedule Employee stock purchase plan (ESPP) at a discount Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
