Senior Director, Enterprise Data Management

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director, Enterprise Data Management to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This leader will own enterprise data strategy and help shape how trusted information is used across the organization to support product, commercial, and operational priorities. The role is highly cross-functional, partnering with executive stakeholders and technical teams to modernize the data environment and strengthen governance. It also carries responsibility for building a scalable data platform foundation that can support AI initiatives, privacy compliance, and future growth.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise data strategy aligned with business goals
• Lead the integration of multiple data layers into a cohesive operational backbone
• Manage a multi-year data maturity roadmap focused on architecture and governance
• Establish robust data governance practices, including data classification and accessibility standards
• Build and maintain an Executive Data Health Dashboard to monitor data integrity
• Drive data infrastructure readiness to support AI initiatives and operational goals
• Evolve data operations into a structured, product-oriented approach that supports external data commercialization

Qualifications

• 10+ years of data leadership experience, including 5+ years at the Director level
• Proven success modernizing multi-source data environments, preferably in SaaS or fintech
• In-depth knowledge of cloud data warehouses, with Snowflake preferred, and lakehouse architectures
• Expertise in AI and ML infrastructures, with an emphasis on data governance and semantic standards
• Demonstrated ability to lead technically diverse teams and collaborate across functions
• Experience governing data for commercial use with strong privacy compliance acumen
• Exceptional communication skills for aligning complex concepts with executive stakeholders

Pay

$180,000 – $220,000 annually
