About the role
This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a life sciences environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Enterprise Data & Intelligence
- Establish a balanced operating model for data governance and analytics aligned with organization maturity
- Partner with leaders to enhance decision-making through data, reporting, and analytics
- Lead the architecture and development of the enterprise data platform for secure and scalable solutions
- Implement a data governance approach that supports business agility while protecting data assets
- Build the Enterprise Data & Intelligence function using an MSP-first operating model, transitioning to internal capabilities
- Collaborate with AI Strategy to ensure data foundation supports advanced analytics and automation
- Oversee the Enterprise Data & Intelligence portfolio, including financial planning and technology investments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred
- 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in Enterprise Data, Analytics, or related disciplines within the life sciences
- Proven track record in developing enterprise data strategies and investment roadmaps
- Experience with modern cloud data platforms and scalable architectures
- Demonstrated success in managing enterprise budgets and vendor relations
- Strong ability to influence executive leadership and drive organizational change
- Exceptional skills in executive communication and strategic planning
Pay
$219,000 – $285,000 annually
