About the Role

This role is located in New York and involves leading and managing global development teams for the Enterprise Custody Services Platform. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing global development teams
  • Providing visionary leadership to drive innovation and improve business outcomes
  • Championing change management initiatives to foster innovation and continuous improvement
  • Collaborating with internal partners and stakeholders to develop and deliver solutions that support revenue growth and enhance client experience
  • Developing and executing group-wide business plans and contributing to firm-wide initiatives
  • Managing risk identification and mitigation efforts across delivery, operations, staffing, and controls
  • Driving recruitment, development, and retention of diverse talent to support professional growth and organizational success
  • Managing operating budgets and maintaining financial discipline
  • Motivating, coaching, and mentoring team members to maximize their contributions and support career development

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 15+ years of experience in systems analysis, program development, and technology leadership
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience managing development project teams, preferably within complex, global environments
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale technology initiatives and deliver results on time and within budget
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated commitment to building an agile, high-performing, and inclusive engineering culture
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in financial services or related industries is a plus

Benefits

The base salary for this position is expected to be between $136,500 and $350,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY Mellon total compensation package, which may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.

This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
