About the team
Our team leads the global development and management of measurement and planning products for Walmart Connect. We design and support solutions for campaign attribution, incrementality measurement, and media planning for Walmart Connect and Sam’s Club Connect advertisers worldwide. Utilizing expertise in applied economics, econometrics, and data analysis, the team delivers strategic insights that drive business decisions. Collaboration across functions ensures the creation of high-quality, data-driven products that enhance advertising effectiveness and support business growth on a global scale.
Responsibilities
- Lead economic research and analysis to inform strategic business decisions across multiple company sectors.
- Develop and implement advanced statistical, econometric, and machine learning models to forecast outcomes and test hypotheses.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of high-quality data pipelines and analytical code using Python, SQL, and related tools.
- Communicate complex economic concepts and findings clearly to technical and executive audiences through reports and visualizations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to design experiments, evaluate initiatives, and align recommendations with economic theory.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering continuous learning and high performance.
- Build and sustain strategic partnerships to support business goals and community engagement.
Requirements
- Extensive experience applying economic research, theory, and advanced econometric techniques to solve complex business challenges.
- Proficiency in statistical methods, data analysis, and programming languages such as Python, SQL, or R for developing data pipelines and modeling.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams.
- Expertise in synthesizing and communicating economic concepts and data-driven insights to a range of audiences, including executive leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build strategic partnerships to drive business outcomes.

Pay
The annual salary range for this position is $192,000.00 - $384,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and stock for certain positions.
