Build Our Future Together We are seeking a Senior Director, Portfolio & Financial Management to join our Digital & Technology, Commercial and G&A Leadership Team. In this role you will establish the strategy, governance, and operating model for portfolio and financial management while driving investment prioritization, value realization, and organizational effectiveness across the technology portfolio. The role also serves as Chief of Staff to the SVP of Commercial and G&A Digital & Technology, acting as a trusted advisor responsible for leadership planning, communications, and execution of key strategic initiatives. Working closely with senior technology, finance, and business leaders, this individual will influence major investment decisions and help ensure technology investments deliver measurable business outcomes. When And Where This role can sit on-site in our Sleepy Hollow, NY, Rensselaer, NY, or Warren, NJ offices a minimum of 4 days/week. Regular attendance for meetings in Sleepy Hollow is required. Discover Your Role Lead enterprise technology portfolio management across Commercial and G&A D&T, overseeing intake, prioritization, planning, and investment sequencing based on business value, risk, and delivery capacity.Own IT financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cost transparency, chargeback/allocation models, and technology investment value realization.Lead value realization across the Digital & Technology portfolio by developing business cases, defining success metrics, and tracking, monitoring, and reporting realized business value against investment objectives.Establish and govern enterprise portfolio and financial management standards, including intake processes, stage-gate reviews, investment frameworks, and governance forums.Direct annual and ongoing technology planning cycles, aligning budgets, resource capacity, and prioritization with enterprise strategy and performance objectives.Build and mature Technology Business Management (TBM) capabilities, leveraging cost and performance data to improve executive decision-making and demonstrate technology value.Lead and develop a high-performing team while driving improvements in portfolio predictability, forecast accuracy, resource utilization, cost visibility, and executive reporting.Serve as Chief of Staff to the SVP, managing leadership operating rhythms, strategic initiatives, executive communications, stakeholder engagement preparation, standardized executive reporting, AI-enabled portfolio management initiatives, and key vendor relationships. This Role Requires BS/BA in Information Systems, Finance, Business, or a related field required; MS or MBA preferred.15+ years of progressive leadership across technology portfolio management, PMO, or IT financial management, ideally within a complex, matrixed enterprise.Experience with Planview software is a plus.Strong command of portfolio and financial management disciplines (platform-agnostic, e.g., PPM/SPM, technology business management, and stage-gate governance frameworks).Experience designing and facilitating executive governance forums, such as steering committees and investment review boards, and driving decisions among senior stakeholders.Experience partnering directly with a senior executive in a chief-of-staff, business-management, or executive-office capacity, including executive communications and board-level preparation, is strongly preferred.Comfort operating with a high degree of autonomy and discretion, exercising sound judgment on behalf of senior leadership.
