Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 15 dedicated employees of Bellwether Asset Management.
  • Evaluate performance of individual asset managers and recommend changes.
  • Lead communication and delegation between Invesco in-house credit team and third party asset management team.
  • Monitor and lead the execution of loss-minimizing recovery strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external groups to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Lead the risk rating process, identify problem loans, and develop monitoring plans.
  • Execute monthly and quarterly loan valuations processes.
  • Proactively communicate with Portfolio Management team.
  • Identify and implement process efficiencies, best practices, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of commercial loan asset management or underwriting experience preferred.
  • Construction loan, mortgage workout, and senior/sub experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong management skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to manage and collaborate with multiple external groups and internal groups.
  • Demonstrated expertise in workouts and special situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Expertise in quantitative analysis, research, and problem-solving.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
  • MBA strongly preferred.

Pay

The salary range for this position in Los Angeles is $180,000 to $250,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time, 5 days in-office in Century City, California. 25% travel.
