Senior Director, Commercialization FP&A

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director, Commercialization FP&A to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will lead commercialization-focused financial planning and analysis in support of a growing biopharmaceutical organization. You will partner closely with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to shape budgets, forecasts, reporting, and decision support tied to product launch and global expansion. The position requires a strong blend of strategic finance leadership, analytical rigor, and hands-on operating cadence to help guide sound commercialization decisions.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Pay

Compensation: $244,000 – $305,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong cross-functional business partnerships to support financial decision-making
• Collaborate with management to prepare operating budgets and financial forecasts
• Provide financial direction and proactive recommendations to stakeholders
• Develop monthly financial management reporting packages and commercialization profit and loss reports
• Oversee monthly variance analysis and investigate discrepancies
• Support ad hoc analyses and special projects tied to successful commercialization
• Drive process improvements in financial planning and reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• CPA or MBA preferred
• 12+ years of biopharmaceutical finance and FP&A experience with progressive leadership responsibilities
• 5+ years of managerial experience
• Experience with commercial product launch and global expansion preferred
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
