For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director, Clinical Pharmacology/Translational to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This leadership role will shape clinical pharmacology and translational strategies across programs from first-in-human through post-marketing stages. The position will play a central role in dose selection, exposure-response assessment, and model-informed drug development, with particular emphasis on CNS assets and safety. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and regulatory authorities to strengthen decision-making and support high-quality development plans. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $177,000 – $338,800 annually Responsibilities Lead strategy for data collection and interpretation across multiple pharmacology sources Drive dose selection by integrating pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic data Guide model-informed drug development with focus on PK, PD, and CNS safety Assess strategies for CNS exposure and target engagement Manage clinical pharmacology strategies from first-in-human through post-marketing Design and interpret pharmacology studies, including FIH and DDI studies Serve as the clinical pharmacology lead within program teams and trial groups Oversee clinical pharmacology sections of regulatory documentation Engage with regulatory bodies to support dosing justifications Collaborate with cross-functional departments to enhance translational insights Supervise external vendors conducting pharmacology studies Ensure clear communication of pharmacology results to stakeholders Contribute to strategic planning and risk mitigation for CNS assets Mentor emerging talent in clinical pharmacology Provide high-quality regulatory documentation Qualifications PhD, PharmD, or MD in Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field 10+ years of clinical pharmacology experience within biopharma with notable contributions to translational science Expertise in PK, PD, PK/PD integration, and exposure-response assessments Experience developing clinical pharmacology strategy for early- to late-stage programs Experience with quantitative clinical pharmacology applications, particularly in CNS Proficiency with clinical pharmacology tools such as NONMEM, R, and Phoenix WinNonlin Experience with regulatory submissions and interactions with health authorities Strong understanding of translational PK and CNS-focused drug development Benefits Eligibility to participate in a company-sponsored 401(k) and pension plan Vacation benefits and flexible paid time off Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug benefits Flexible spending accounts for healthcare and dependent care Life insurance and death benefits programs Access to well-being programs including employee assistance and fitness benefits Participation in employee clubs and activities Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
