For our client, a leader in the Business Services space, we are seeking a Senior Director of AI Operations to join their team. This role will lead operational priorities where safety, quality, compliance, and execution discipline are central to success.
About the role
You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a Business Services environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Own the AI Operations charter and manage MVP definition and roadmap
- Define the MVP for governed enterprise AI capabilities including workload classes and decision rights
- Establish a federated platform operating model involving various departments
- Provide technical direction on architecture and delivery tradeoffs
- Utilize AI tools to improve planning and stakeholder communication
- Position AI Operations as a reusable and observable capability for AI adoption
- Coordinate MVP scope and measure success across various operational metrics
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in enterprise technology, platform leadership, cloud operations, AI enablement, digital transformation, or enterprise architecture, with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Strong understanding of enterprise AI operating needs including data protection, auditability, and AI governance
- Technical fluency with cloud platforms and AI technologies
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools for system building, documentation, and planning
- Ability to translate technical work into business outcomes and stakeholder decisions
- Proven experience engaging with senior stakeholders across multiple domains such as security, compliance, and product
- Strong written communication skills for executive narratives and documentation
Pay
$205,000 – $295,000 annually
