Senior Direct Support Professional

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Aid in daily routines such as cleaning, cooking, feeding, medication administration, and maintaining personal hygiene
• Monitor the health and medical needs of individuals and report any concerns immediately
• Aid in the learning and development of independent and community-based skills
• Participate in community, social, and recreational activities with individuals
• Drive individuals to medical appointments and activities in the community
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of program documentation and billable records
• Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
• Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports
• Exercise good judgment and remain calm in crisis situations

Starting Pay: $15.30 per hour.

We are now hiring a Full-Time Senior Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Las Cruces, NM to provide person-centered care tailored to meet the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
