As a Senior Digital Substation Leader, Digital Power Systems, you’ll lead our Boston-based team in delivering cutting-edge digital substation solutions for the utility, renewable energy, mining and heavy industry sectors. This role is ideal for a seller-doer, someone who combines technical leadership with business development acumen to grow our presence in the United States and beyond.

Team Leadership and Development

• Lead, mentor and build a team of digital power systems (DPS) professionals based in Salem, NH
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive and high-performance culture focused on technical excellence and continuous learning
• Support recruitment, onboarding and career development initiatives
• Conduct regular performance reviews and guide team members through personalized development plans
• Promote knowledge sharing through technical sessions and cross-province collaboration

Business Development and Client Engagement

• Serve as a seller-doer by identifying and securing new business opportunities through internal networks and direct client engagement
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners and internal stakeholders
• Lead proposal development and contribute to strategic planning and market positioning in Ontario and nationally

Project and Operational Management

• Oversee the planning, execution and delivery of DPS projects, ensuring alignment with budgets, timelines and quality standards
• Manage departmental resources (technical, human, financial and material) to optimize performance
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, policies and industry regulations
• Provide technical leadership for all project phases, including design, testing, commissioning and operational support

Technical Excellence

• Lead engineering projects based on IEC 61850 standards
• Supervise laboratory testing and system commissioning
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in digital power systems
