Senior Digital & Mixed-Signal Verification Engineer

About the role

A senior-level position in digital and mixed-signal verification engineering within a leading semiconductor company. The role involves designing and implementing verification environments, writing testbenches, and collaborating with hardware and software teams to ensure system correctness.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive verification environments for complex digital and mixed-signal systems
• Develop and maintain testbenches for various verification scenarios
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate verification results into the development process
• Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior team members
• Stay updated with the latest verification methodologies and tools

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in digital and mixed-signal verification
• Experience with Verilog, VHDL, and SystemVerilog
• Strong understanding of digital design principles and verification techniques
• Knowledge of UVM (Universal Verification Methodology) and/or other formal verification methods
• Experience with simulation tools such as ModelSim, Cadence VCS, or Synopsys VCS
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality verification solutions
• Experience with mixed-signal verification and familiarity with RF and analog design concepts is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

Skills

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Perl
• Experience with formal verification techniques and tools
• Understanding of IP integration and verification flows
