Senior Digital Full Stack Engineer

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own scalable and maintainable front-end and back-end systems using modern languages and frameworks.
- Lead development within the team for key application features, ensuring code quality, performance, and security.
- Translate complex business requirements into technical solutions with minimal oversight.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and enforce best practices.
- Work cross-functionally across the team and collaborate with adjacent teams, including DevOps and QA, to ensure robust CI/CD pipelines and testing strategies.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and contribute to technical planning.
- Participate in system architecture discussions and clearly communicate proposals.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement proactive monitoring and observability tools.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in full stack or specialized software development roles.
- Proficiency in at least one major front-end framework (React, Angular) and one back-end language (Node.js, Python, or Java).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), databases (SQL/NoSQL), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring junior developers.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Pay
The annual base salary range for this position is $137,590 - $152,880. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (e.g., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on the agreed-upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
