About the role
Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Digital Engineering (DE) Process Engineer to support a Proprietary Program Digital Engineering team in the St. Louis, Missouri region. The selected candidate will work with a team of Systems Engineers, Design Engineers, Process Engineers, and Manufacturing Engineers to mature a next-generation Digital Engineering (DE) & Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system for Engineering and Manufacturing. This system is the foundation of our digital transformation and the future of advanced Engineering and Manufacturing capabilities, including Model-Based Engineering, Additive Manufacturing, and Cross-Discipline Collaboration.
Your primary assignment will be to provide technical process and application support for an Air Dominance proprietary program’s digital engineering team. This includes supporting multiple Engineering disciplines’ use of the Product Data Management (PDM) system – Siemens Teamcenter, and integrated Siemens applications such as NX and Teamcenter Visualization, as well as Boeing custom Engineering, Manufacturing, and Procurement applications.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite at Hazelwood, MO. Travel may be required up to 10% of the time domestically depending on business needs. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim/Final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance is also required.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Program Engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues using Teamcenter and related engineering, analysis, modeling & simulation, and manufacturing applications.
- Design, develop, test, and support rollout of new DE/PLM tool capabilities, oversee tool and data transitions, and manage data migrations.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to capture requirements and ensure consistent digital data and model management practices.
- Analyze engineering data across systems to identify discrepancies, implement corrective actions, and improve data integrity.
- Facilitate accurate and timely engineering data delivery to suppliers and customers.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all organizational levels, including suppliers and customers.
- Operate independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-U.S. equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
- 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-U.S. equivalent qualifications.
- Experience supporting engineering and manufacturing operations, including tool and software application development and/or support, process development, and database management.
- U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- Experience with Siemens Teamcenter and integrated applications (such as NX and Teamcenter Visualization).
- Knowledge of system integrations between Teamcenter (or another PDM System) and downstream products such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Working experience and exposure to Engineering and Manufacturing business processes such as Change Management, Bill Of Material (BOM) Management, and Bill of Process.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers.
- Experience with Bill of Process (BOP) development and management as well as Plant and Process Simulation tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) and its application in production systems.
- Understanding of Nonconformance processes and resolution workflows.
- Familiarity with MBI/Visualization techniques for manufacturing insights.
- Hands-on experience with Fabrication, Painting, and Coatings operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to Automation (Robotics) technologies and integration within production.
- Skills in Machine Performance Analysis (MPA) for optimizing equipment efficiency.
- Experience with Timekeeping management and ensuring accurate labor tracking.
- Ability to support Production Scheduling and Planning activities to meet operational goals.
- Knowledge of Inspection protocols and quality assurance processes.

Pay
Summary pay range: $149,600 - $202,400.
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. This position is for 1st shift.
