The Work

  • Handle complex diagnostics without relying on others
  • Can follow structured processes without being chased
  • Communicate clearly with management and the team
  • Take ownership of their work—whether in the shop or in the field
  • Diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks and systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance that reduces real failures
  • Utilize modern diagnostic tools on late-model equipment
  • Complete mobile service calls independently and professionally
  • Follow established protocols and report progress to management
  • Deliver repairs that meet safety and performance standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Diesel Fleet Technician
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with modern diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Knowledge of diesel engine systems and repair techniques
  • Experience with preventative maintenance procedures

Pay

Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 annually
