Key Responsibilities
Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines over 400 hp, heavy trucks, tactical vehicles, and expeditionary equipment.
Provide technical oversight and mentorship to less experienced mechanics.
Support maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and complex repair decisions.
Document work performed in Fleet Focus or similar systems.
Help maintain readiness, quality, and safety standards across the shop.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years experience or E7–E8 equivalent
- ASE Master certification or equivalent
- Full repair capability across equipment types
- Clearance eligibility
Preferred Qualifications
- Lead mechanic experience
- CDLNSW/SOF support experience
