Work Authorization: U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (minimum of three consecutive years of U.S. residency) Clearance: Active IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) required Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-Time Estimated Start Date: August 2026 Years of Experience: 7+ Years Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior DevSecOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure, enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience integrating security into every phase of the software development lifecycle, automating infrastructure and security controls, and implementing DevSecOps best practices. This role works closely with development, QA, and security teams to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant cloud solutions. Primary Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain secure end-to-end CI/CD pipelines. Build and support cloud-native infrastructure using DevSecOps best practices. Implement continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. Develop and manage containerized environments using Kubernetes and Docker. Automate vulnerability scanning, security testing, and compliance validation throughout the software development lifecycle. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) validation and automation. Develop and maintain policy-as-code solutions to enforce security and compliance standards. Collaborate with development, QA, and cybersecurity teams to embed security throughout the application lifecycle. Monitor and improve pipeline performance, deployment reliability, and security posture. Define and track DevSecOps metrics related to pipeline efficiency, security, and compliance. Promote secure coding standards and DevSecOps best practices across project teams. Document DevSecOps architectures, automation processes, and operational procedures. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree. Minimum 7 years of professional DevSecOps or related engineering experience. Active IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI). Current Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE). Extensive experience designing, implementing, and supporting secure CI/CD pipelines. Experience with continuous integration, continuous delivery, and deployment methodologies. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker. Experience implementing cloud-native infrastructure solutions. Experience automating vulnerability scanning and security validation. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies. Experience implementing policy-as-code and security automation. Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure software development practices. Experience collaborating with development, QA, and security teams in Agile environments. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
