Senior DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deploying and provisioning AWS resources including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM roles, and VPC configurations to support scalable architecture
• Building, maintaining, and troubleshooting continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes using GitLab and GitHub
• Running routine vulnerability scans, applying patches, and updating cloud and physical infrastructures to ensure security compliance
• Designing and maintaining Kubernetes and EKS clusters to ensure high availability and productivity for the development team
• Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure complete and functional systems that meet all requirements
• Recommending, and when approved, implementing process and policy improvements

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or similar technical discipline and 10+ years’ technical experience
• High School Diploma and 14+ years of technical experience
• 10+ years’ experience with DevOps, front end development or full stack development
• Experience with Bash scripting
• Experience working within AWS (Amazon Web Services) environments
• Experience working with Linux administration and systems design
• Experience creating CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with network documentation including security compliance, configuration management, and patching

Qualifications

• Expertise in JavaScript/ECMASCRIPT, including code stitching, minimization, and Restful API development
• Knowledge of automated hardware appliance deployment, PKI infrastructure, and encryption at rest services
• Experience working across a large team to drive technical agendas and working with complex, intertwined systems
