Senior DevOps Engineer :: Remote :: W2/Fulltime

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Build and optimize automated deployment processes for applications running in on-premises and GCP environments.
• Manage and administer GitHub repositories, workflows, branch protection rules, and repository security.
• Develop reusable CI/CD templates, workflows, and automation to improve developer productivity.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or similar technologies.
• Automate provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
• Monitor CI/CD pipelines, troubleshoot deployment failures, and optimize build performance.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve application deployment strategies and release processes.
• Integrate security scanning, code quality checks, and compliance controls into CI/CD pipelines.
• Support containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes where applicable.
• Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting for deployment and platform health.
• Document platform architecture, deployment procedures, and operational best practices.
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous platform improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications.
• Experience supporting deployments across both on-premises infrastructure and cloud platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Linux administration and shell scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with networking, load balancing, DNS, SSL/TLS, and security best practices.
• Experience implementing monitoring and logging solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
