Responsibilities
- Design and maintain Linux infrastructure in cloud and on-premises environments
- Automate infrastructure using tools like Terraform and Ansible
- Manage AWS environments focusing on performance and cost efficiency
- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions like Datadog and Prometheus
- Architect and operate production Kubernetes/AWS EKS clusters, ensuring reliability and compliance
- Define strategies for cluster upgrades and security hardening
- Manage Kubernetes networking and security configurations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- 8+ years in Linux Systems Administration, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering
- 5+ years working with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM)
- 5+ years on Kubernetes/AWS EKS for production workloads
- Proficiency in scripting and automation with Python and Bash
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD (GitLab CI/CD)
- Solid foundation in networking and cloud security
