Senior DevOps Engineer (EKS/Kubernetes)

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Linux infrastructure in cloud and on-premises environments
• Automate infrastructure using tools like Terraform and Ansible
• Manage AWS environments focusing on performance and cost efficiency
• Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions like Datadog and Prometheus
• Architect and operate production Kubernetes/AWS EKS clusters, ensuring reliability and compliance
• Define strategies for cluster upgrades and security hardening
• Manage Kubernetes networking and security configurations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• 8+ years in Linux Systems Administration, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering
• 5+ years working with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM)
• 5+ years on Kubernetes/AWS EKS for production workloads
• Proficiency in scripting and automation with Python and Bash
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD (GitLab CI/CD)
• Solid foundation in networking and cloud security
